SEE Learning Committee
After your school completes SEE 101 and the Getting Started with SEE Learning training, and your teachers gain access to the full curriculum, the next step is ensuring the depth, consistency, and integrity of SEE Learning implementation. Ensuring the quality of the SEE learning framework is maintained.
To support this, each school is invited to form a SEE Learning Committee.

What is the SEE Learning Committee?
The SEE Learning Committee is a team of minimum 2 educators selected from your school to act as key SEE Learning leaders and mentors. These educators will support the integration of SEE Learning into the life of your school by:
- Sharing insights and practices with the rest of the staff
- Supporting lesson planning and classroom delivery
- Helping sustain long-term engagement with SEE Learning principles
These educators serve as a bridge between SEE Learning Indonesia, Emory, and classroom implementation.
Committee Responsibilities
- Attend Monthly Trainings
Committee members will join monthly deep-dive sessions led by the certified SEE Learning facilitators. These trainings offer:
- A deeper understanding of each chapter of the curriculum
- Facilitation tools and trauma-informed practices
- Strategies for classroom embodiment of SEE Learning principles
- Practical integration of movement-based and regulation techniques
- Opportunities to connect and learn from other educators across Indonesia
- Committee members will also receive support to complete the SEE Learning Facilitator Training at Emory University, equipping them with even more tools to mentor others at their school.
Committee members help introduce new practices, answer questions, and provide peer support — ensuring the SEE Learning journey stays strong and rooted in the school community.
Who Should Join the Committee?
We encourage schools to choose intentional, committed individuals for this role. Ideal committee members:
- Speak English – to participate in SEE Learning Indonesia’s regional trainings
- Feel connected to the SEE Learning framework – and are excited about sharing it
- Are committed to their personal journey – open to reflection, self-awareness, and continued growth
- Show leadership and care – ready to support their peers with humility and insight
- Be willing to enroll to the online, 9 months long facilitator journey at Emory University
